Lucas Silva is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Portuguese club Porto and the Brazil national team. Born on June 14, 1988 in São Paulo, he began his career with Santos, where he made his debut in 2006.
In 2011, Silva moved to Italian Serie A club Inter Milan on a free transfer, becoming their first signing since the club's founding in 1905. He made his Serie A debut against Bologna on October 27, 2011.
In 2013, Silva signed a four-year contract with English Premier League club Manchester United. After impressing with United's training facilities in England, he was loaned out to Italian club Internazionale. In 2016, Silva returned to Inter Milan, where he won two Serie A titles before moving back to Inter in 2018.
